Yellow Wiggle saved by CPR and defibrillator.

Crew and off-duty nurse show why CPR and First Aid training is essential.

A fundraising concert held in Sydney's north-west Friday night went from entertainment to emergency in the blink of an eye.

The Wiggles were approaching the end of the show when popular yellow wiggle (my kids liked his happy face), Greg Page suddenly collapse on stage.

Grace Jones, a 23 year old off-duty nurse and life-long Wiggle fan, performed CPR assisted by Wiggles drummer Steve Pace and staff member Kimmy Antonelli after noticing ticked the two vital criteria:

1. Uresponsive, and

2. Not breathing normally.

Fortunately Australia has an ever increasing number of Defibrillators accessible and Castle Hill RSL didnt disappoint. Their defibrillator being used several times to shock Page's heart out of it's life threatening rhythms.

The turtle-necked icon is recovering in Westmead Hospital following a medical procedure to treat a major coronary artery blockage and wanted to thank all involved and hoped the focus remained on raising as much money as possible for the bushfire appeal.

"It was an awful experience for him and all those around him," he said. "His mum and dad were there. It was quite traumatic to witness. But he was lucky to have those people who jumped in and did CPR. Paul Field, the Wiggles manager, was emotionalwhen interviewed.
