Service Description

No skills are more important than CPR and defibrillation! This course is directed toward a wide variety of settings involving cardiac arrest emergencies. It is relevant for those involved in education, community or aged care, sports, travel & tourism, hospitality, corporate & industry enterprises & all workplace & community settings. There are no prerequisite units. Participants will need the ability to meet the physical demands of providing resuscitation, including provision of CPR on the floor. Participants will also need oral communication skills in order to make an accurate verbal report to emergency services & a workplace supervisor. It is recommended that participants have language, literacy & numeracy skills equivalent to level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework. The accredited training and assessment will be conducted by 'Help 4 Life first aid' under LivCor responsibility and direction.
